Basically, this is my alternative to installous 2.0.4. However, a feature that is new is AppCracker™. It utilizes Madhouse's Crack™ Utility, which is much faster than poedCrack, and also has a timer that lets you know how long the cracking process took!

Known Bugs/Issues:
-Apps don't immediately show after installer (rare, but it happens sometimes)
-Download progress bar doesn't dissappear when download is complete (just hit close)
-Browser crashes on certain URLS and file hosts

Because of the way the app handles download URLS, some file hosting sites to don't work. Mediafire and 2/4Shared are the main ones. Rapidshare, Appscene, IpadDl, and most of the others work perfectly fine.

I am working on v3.3 of the application right now. The new update will have a native interface, allowing users to browse appstore apps directly, without using any third party sites. As of now, all downloads are from AppTrackr, but future updates will allow users to select where they want to download from.

InfiniBoard is a new application by @chpwn that lets you scroll through your springboard icons vertically as opposed to the default which is horizontally. @chpwn also developed ProSwitcher (multi-tasking app) and Infinidock (dock scrolling).

InfiniBoard will be available in a few hours from now through Cydia for $1.99. Future support for OverBoard is integrated into this release, but until a new update to Overboard is released, the icons will not show up for now. I imagine this will be resolved in the next day or two.

So what do you prefer? Vertical or Horizontal? Both? Share your thoughts and keep your eyes peeled for this one.

Whats Updatr all about:
Updatr is a little tool which scans your local installed applications, contacts iTunes and informs you if there is a newer version available.

What's new in beta 4:
- extrapromt when you enter itunesid on your own with the name of the app in iTunes to see if everything is correct
- updatr remembers now your last used country
- last itunesversions now shows up if you dont perform an update on launch
- small iconproblem fixed (pokedex)

- i tried to crash updatr with some really dumb user inputs and i worked :( this is fixed now
- no damage is done if you lose your connection while updating now.

How does the plusgin system work:
on every launch Updatr scans for all .plists in /private/var/mobile/Documents/UpdatrPlugins/ and you can then view your uptodate or needstobeupdated apps on these pages.an example how such a plist file must look:

apptrackr is always included, even if you havent installed any plist

Why open beta and no completed Updatr?
right now theres is only one issue i need to fix before releasing 1.0. if you have an older device (no 3gs or iPod touch 3g) and you have to much apps installed (far beyond 100), Updatr will most likely run out of memory and crash. since i dont have time this weekend to code and this isnt something i can fix in just a day i will give you open beta 4 instead of 1.0. hope you have fun with this one and maybe you will find some bug i can fix before actuall release ;)

in case you have no clue what to do with these:
copy the Updatr.deb on your device and run "dpkg -i Updatr.deb" over ssh. this will install Updatr. after a respring or restart Updatr should show up on your springboard.
